Origami Embellished Phone Case

Can I let you in on a little secret?  I’m a very frugal person.  And because of my frugality, I was inspired to make this embellished phone case.  At first I started looking into custom printed cases but quickly decided I didn’t want to spend thirty dollars.  My original plan was to make a case with an origami print.  However, I realized I could incorporate a physical origami piece into a case opposed to a print.  As a result, I made this origami bow embellished phone case.  Simple directions below.

Origami art – Your origami art should be no larger than the width of your case.  I used a 3in square paper to make this bow.  You can find directions for the bow here.

Painters Tape

Clear Phone Case – I used this one, here.

origami embellished cell phone case 3With a small piece of painters tape, adhere origami to phone.  This will keep it in place when you place the case on.

origami embellished cell phone case 2Cover the bow with the phone case and you’re done.  I’ve been using my case for over a week and the bow hasn’t moved.  If I ever get board with it, I can just take the case off and replace it with something else.
