DIY Washi Tape Planter Cover

washi tape crafts 2When the summer season approaches, I always feel the need to redecorate.  It’s never a major overhaul; I just like to switch out the throw pillows and a few other accessories.   Or in this case, update a couple of accessories.  I traded in my moss planter cover for a bright washi tape cover.  I also experimented with some glass votive candles.  If  your home could use some refreshing too, check out the DIY below.

Supplies:

White cardstock

Scissors

Washi Tape

washi tape crafts 31.  Cut a piece of white cardstock so the height is the same as the planter and the width is the circumference of the planter plus 1/4 – 1/2 in.

2.  Randomly place washi tape strips over paper.  Refer to fig. 2.

4.  Roll paper into a cylinder and seal ends together with washi tape.  Place over planter and you’re all done, easy.
